Private Puppy Info and Training Visit

PUPPIES ARE HARD WORK!

... And you quickly forget this after having a quiet, calm older dog. They are needy, loud, energetic, manic at times and have very sharp needle teeth. They will chew up your rug, bark all day, bite the kids feet, steal your socks, pee in the house and much much more! So let us help you to have a well-mannered, calm puppy that will grow up to be the best dog in the neighbourhood.

From birth to 14 weeks puppies acquire most of their 'social skills' where they learn how to interact appropriately with other dogs, humans and other animals. During the period of birth and 14 weeks puppies acquire most of their 'social skills' where they learn how to interact appropriately with other dogs, humans and other animals. It is during this age that they learn to accept new experiences and situations as normal, however there are many puppies that are not exposed to these and may have difficulty fitting in when they are older. We will run through everything you need to know about owning, training and socialising your new pup to set them up for success.

In a private in-home puppy visit, your puppy can be of any age and their first vaccination is not required. We have made this visit so that puppies can immediately start on the right paw to being a well-balanced family member.

We will cover:

  • Biting/mouthing
  • Toilet training
  • Calming and impulse control
  • Making new experiences positive
  • Chewing furniture and other items
  • How to socialise them safely with other puppies/dogs

... and much more!
